NSWALC to support 2015 NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council has approved a grant of up to $75,000 to the Barwon Aboriginal Corporation to support next month's 2015 NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout, which will be held in Dubbo.

The funding of $1000 per team was granted to discount registration fees for the first 75 male or female teams to register for the event.

NSWALC encourages teams to register with the Barwon Aboriginal Corporation as soon as possible so they can access funding from the grant.

The grant has been made available under the NSWALC discretionary grants Community Benefits Scheme.

The 45th Knockout will be hosted by last year's winners Walgett Aboriginal Connection with competitions for Under 12s, Under 15s, Under 17s Women and Men being held between 2 and 5 October, 2015 at Caltex Park, Dubbo.

The Knockout is an event NSWALC is proud to support. NSWALC wishes Barwon Aboriginal Corporation the best in organising the event and looks forward to catching up with players and spectators next month.

Enquiries about the Knockout can be directed to http://walgettaboriginalconnection.com.au/
