NSWALC is reminding all Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) and Aboriginal Community Organisations that applications are still open for the 2026–2027 Regional Event Grants Program, with the closing date approaching soon on Thursday, 30 April 2026.
The Regional Event Grants provide funding of up to $25,000 to support events that promote Aboriginal culture and sporting achievement across New South Wales, and demonstrate clear regional significance.
NSWALC encourages all eligible organisations to consider this opportunity and submit an application to support upcoming events that bring Communities together, strengthen cultural connections, and celebrate Aboriginal identity across the State.
How to apply:
- Review the Regional Event Grants Policy and Procedures to ensure eligibility.
- Access the Regional Event Grants Application Form via the website.
- Submit your application by 5:00 pm (AEDT), Thursday 30 April 2026.
Applications should clearly demonstrate how the proposed event will deliver regional impact, support Community participation, and contribute to the continuation and visibility of Aboriginal culture.
