Together on Country

The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC), in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA),  is delivering the Together on Country grant program to support Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) across NSW in managing their land holdings.

The new program provides funding of up to $150,000 per project to address waste challenges, including illegal dumping, and strengthen sustainable practices within communities across NSW.

The program also sets out to support the integration of traditional ecological knowledge, focused on sustainability, reuse and regeneration, into modern waste management approaches.

Applications are assessed on a rolling basis. Funding is available to all LALCs, which are encouraged to consult with their communities to ensure proposed projects deliver meaningful, long-term outcomes.
