2026-2027Â Regional Event Grant applications now open
Applications for NSWALC’s 2026-2027 Regional Events Grants Program are open from 1st of March to 30th April 2026.Â
NSWALC’s Regional Event Grants provide funding for organisations and events that support and promote Aboriginal culture or sporting achievements.
Encouraging current and future generations of Aboriginal communities to participate in sporting and cultural activities is essential for fostering a sense of belonging, pride and identity. These activities provide a platform for our people to connect with each other, their heritage, strengthen their cultural ties and showcase their unique traditions and skills.
The maximum funding awarded to grant recipients is $25,000. Successful community organisations, Local Aboriginal Land Councils and events must have proven State-wide significance for Aboriginal people across NSW.
The NSWALC Regional Events Grants Policy and Procedure document is available for download here and outlines what the grants can be used for and on what basis grant applications will be assessed.
