Member: Benjamin Harris
Wiradjuri Region

Benjamin Harris is a proud Baakindji man with Wiradjuri connections and is the NSWALC Youth Advisory Committee member for the Wiradjuri Region.

He lives and works in the remote town of Lake Cargelligo, NSW, on Wiradjuri Country and currently works as an Administration Officer for Murrin Bridge Local Aboriginal Land Council.

After completing a Certificate III in Business Administration, Benjamin is now studying for his Diploma in Business and is passionate about demonstrating leadership and being a strong voice for young people across NSW.

Benjamin has mentored local Aboriginal youth through Down the Track Enterprises, encouraging them to overcome challenges and get involved in the NSW Land Rights Network and to become members of their LALC.

He is committed to learning, developing skills, and empowering youth to create positive change in their communities. He hopes to inspire and uplift future leaders through connection and shared knowledge.
