Member: Latrell Allan
Northern Region

Latrell Allan is a proud Gomeroi man from Quirindi and the NSWALC Youth Advisory Committee Member for the Northern Region.

He has strong family connections to Walhallow, Werris Creek, and Ngunnawal Country and is a dual member of both Nungaroo and Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Councils. Latrell has been connected to the Land Council system from a young age, with both of his parents having served as Board Members and CEOs of Nungaroo LALC.

Latrell’s passion for supporting his community was shaped by this early involvement, and further strengthened during high school through his experience with the Gomeroi Culture Academy in Tamworth. The program took him across the country and deepened his connection to cultures, histories, and identity.

He has previously worked with the Tamworth LALC through the Opportunity Hub, where he supported young people in setting goals, building confidence, and pursuing their dreams.
