New opportunity for LALCs to upskill in accounting and business software

13 November, 2025

Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) across the State will have the opportunity to upskill in accounting and business management software skills thanks to new training facilitated by NSWALC.

This training will help attendees navigate and use the software features across the widely used platforms MYOB and Xero.

MYOB and Xero software help LALCs complete various important business tasks, including:

  • Invoicing: Easily create and send professional invoices to clients.
  • Expense tracking: Keep track of expenses and manage budgets effectively.
  • Payroll management: Streamline payroll processes, making it easier to pay employees accurately and on time.
  • Inventory management: Manage stock levels and track inventory efficiently.
  • Financial reporting: Generate detailed financial reports to help make informed business decisions.
  • Taxation and compliance: Simplify tax compliance by recording and reporting financial information accurately.
  • Bank reconciliation: Streamline bank reconciliation to save time and ensure financial records match bank balances.
  • Time and expense tracking: Efficiently track and bill time and expenses.

These sessions will be held online. NSWALC encourages all LALCs looking to grow their business knowledge and strengthen their financial operations to attend.
