Adventures on Worimi Country

Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council’s Sand Dune Adventures navigates culture, country and tourism success.

It’s another Silver for Worimi LALC’s Sand Dunes Adventures, at the 2016 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.

Sand Dune Adventures took the spot in the Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander category.

Established in 1985, they are the tourism industry’s peak awards and were presented this year at a gala event in Darwin.

Sand Dune Adventures is an example of economic development in action, with the business now reaping the benefits of years of hard work.

OurMob visited Worimi LALC at Port Stephens and was taken out on the dunes. See our video below.
