La Perouse on the Green

1 July, 2016

A glorious day of golf for La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council.

80 avid golfers braved a brisk winter morning recently, for a charity golf day to raise money for La Perouse LALC.

Players arrived at the NSW Golf Club bright and early at sunrise, for a hot breakfast before hitting the green.

The day was picture perfect with a blue sky, warm sun and a brisk wind to keep players moving.

The overall winners of the day were Rodney Ella, Mark Garvey, Paul Simon and Sonny Timbery.

But as well as some friendly competition, it was also a chance to  have a few laughs and yarn about old times.
