NSWALC joins in NAIDOC celebrations at Hyde Park, Sydney

New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council and Aboriginal organisations from around the state set up shop in Hyde Park for the start of NAIDOC Week 2016 “Songlines: The Living Narrative of Our Nation”.

There was plenty of food, fun and music for community, and activities all day for the children.

Major sporting codes also offered workshops for children, and the AFL’s Sydney Swans also launched its new Reconciliation Action Plan, to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ involvement in the sport.

Acknowledgement
