2015 Statewide Conference - Our Land Council Our Mob Our Future
21 July 2015

In just under one month, the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) will hold the biannual Statewide Conference for Local Aboriginal Land Councils at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley in Cessnock.

The Conference will be held between 17 and 20 August and NSWALC is inviting two representatives from each Local Aboriginal Land Council to attend.

However, it is important to note that given capacity restrictions of the venue, registration is limited to two delegates per LALC.

NSWALC will fund all accommodation and meal costs for the nominated LALC delegates. All travel costs must be met by the LALC.

Planning for the Conference is underway and NSWALC would appreciate your consideration and response as soon as possible to assist us in coordinating the event.

Registration for the Conference can be completed at http://e.mybookingmanager.com/NSWALCSWC2015

NSWALC will continue to update the network through further Network Messages, the OurMob newsletter as well as our presence on Facebook and twitter.

On the NSWALC website, we will have a dedicated page for the Statewide Conference that will provide updates on the agenda, speakers, panel discussions, exhibitors and entertainment.

In the meantime, comments and suggestions can be sent to conference@alc.org.au

I look forward to catching up with LALC delegates at the Conference.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the lands where we work as well as across the lands we travel through. We also acknowledge our Elders past, present and emerging.
