Aboriginal Affairs’ Community Survey

17 September, 2024

The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) is urging the Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) network to actively participate in Aboriginal Affairs’ NSW Community Survey.

The survey aims to gather information to enhance Aboriginal Affairs’ capability in supporting communities. By identifying potential service gaps, Aboriginal Affairs will work towards bridging these gaps and ensure equitable access to essential services.

By completing the survey, LALCs can articulate the needs for support services in their respective regions.  The survey covers a wide range of topics, including land rights, health services, education, employment, housing, and cultural preservation.

The survey is available online and can be accessed here: https://buff.ly/4dYoL9H

NSWALC encourages LALCs and members to participate in the survey and ensure their voices are heard.

Aboriginal Affairs has assured participants that all responses will remain confidential and anonymous.

The survey is now open and will remain accessible until 5:00pm AEST, Thursday 26 September 2024.
