The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being sought for the 2021-22 round of the NSWALC Statewide Grants.
The NSWALC Statewide Grants program
The NSWALC Statewide Grants program is part of a Community Benefits Scheme.
The Community Benefits Scheme is a mechanism by which the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council can provide grants to community members or community entities, under section 108 of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (NSW).
Events chosen for the NSWALC Statewide Grants must support and promote Aboriginal culture and/or sporting achievement, have statewide Aboriginal participation and be of statewide significance for Aboriginal peoples in NSW.
Activities that do not meet these purposes will not be funded under the Statewide Grants component.
There is one funding round each year, with the application period open for two months.
The NSWALC Statewide Grants Policy & Procedure form outlines what grants can be used for, and how grant applications will be assessed.
2021-22 Funding Round
The application period for the 2021-22 round of NSWALC State Wide Grants will be open from Monday 1 March 2021 and close on Friday 30 April 2021.
