The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) is moving forward with the recruitment of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The role of CEO is crucial in guiding NSWALC’s strategic direction and supporting the commitment to Aboriginal communities across New South Wales. To manage this important process, NSWALC has engaged an independent company, the Orchard Talent Group.
Applications for the CEO recruitment have now opened and will close on Sunday 24 November 2024. Information on the application process is available here: NSWALC Chief Executive Officer.
The NSWALC Council congratulates departing CEO Yuseph Deen on his appointment to the Northern Land Council. Yuseph’s last working day at NSWALC will be 15 November 2024.
NSWALC Chairperson Raymond Kelly reflected on Yuseph’s impact and the importance of diligently securing a new CEO to lead the organisation. “We deeply appreciate Yuseph’s significant contributions to NSWALC as CEO and in his previous roles. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping our initiatives and strengthening our impact. It’s now time to start a new chapter in NSW Land Rights, and we encourage those interested in the CEO position to apply,” said Chairperson Kelly.
An announcement on NSWALC’s interim CEO arrangements will be made shortly.
