The Community Relations Commission announces the opening of the first round of the 2011 Community Development Grants Program. ( Sponsorship).

Applications are invited from not-for-profit incorporated organisations to receive up to $5,000 for annual festivals or major cultural events scheduled no earlier than 1 December 2010. Closing date for submissions is 10 September 2010.

Funding under the sponsorship program is provided three times a year. The second round will open again in November 2010.
