Deadline Extended to Apply for the 2025 NSW Aboriginal Land Council’s Educational Scholarship

NSW Aboriginal students now have more time to apply for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council’s (NSWALC) Educational Scholarship.

NSWALC’s Educational Scholarship provides two $10,000 scholarships and is open to NSW Aboriginal students in their second to last year of study of a degree at a tertiary institution. In addition, the Scholarship recipients receive a valuable six-week paid internship, allowing students to apply their knowledge from their field of study.

Fields of study may include law, finance, business, media and communications, human resources, land & environment, planning, policy, or property management.

Applications for the NSWALC Educational Scholarship now close at 5:00pm on Thursday, 31 October 2024.

Eligible Aboriginal university students interested in applying can access the application form on the NSWALC website: alc.org.au/educational-scholarship. Applications are considered based on a set of criteria that includes:

  • must be a full-time student in your second to last year of study of a degree at a tertiary institution, and
  • be a member of a Local Aboriginal Land Council.
