NSWALC announces sponsorship of the 2023 NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout

14 August, 2023

Planning is well underway for the 2023 NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout Carnival (Koori Knockout) with NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) pleased it will be supporting the event for the eighth time.

The Newcastle All Blacks (NAB) won the men’s competition at the 50th Koori Knockout at Nowra last year and will host this year’s tournament at Tuggerah over the October long weekend.

The Koori Knockout is not only about rugby league, but it is about the connection with community, relatives, family and it’s why NSWALC continues to show its support of the biggest First Nations community event in NSW.

The NSWALC made changes to the structure of its Sponsorship Program, these changes come into effect for this year’s Koori Knockout.

NSWALC is now sponsoring the event – this means NSWALC will not be involved in the registration fees and/or planning, which instead will be done by the NAB KO organising committee.
