Sorry Business – Funeral Details for Maurice Stewart

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council and the Office of the Registrar mourns the loss of La Perouse Elder, Maurice Stewart.

A Funeral Service for Maurice will be held today, Thursday 6th August 2020 in the South Chapel of Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park at 1.00pm. 

For those who cannot be there in person, the family have arranged a livestream for community to view the proceedings.

Our thoughts go out to Maurice’s family, the La Perouse community, his colleagues at the Office of the Registrar and his many friends across NSW.
