Latrell Allan (He/him/his)

Latrell Allan is a Gomeroi man from Quirindi, with family ties to Werris Creek and Walhallow.

Latrell says some of the major issues facing youth in his region are lack of cultural connection, education and employment.

He says his reach on social media will help him connect with more youth in his region, to discuss support and development opportunities with Local Aboriginal Land Councils and other Aboriginal community organisations.

Latrell regularly volunteers with the Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council in its School Holiday program, and as a basketball referee in the Bounce Back youth program.
