NSW Aboriginal Land Council Opens the 2018 Supplementary Round of State Wide Grants

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being sought for the 2018 supplementary round of NSWALC State Wide Grants.

The NSWALC State Wide Grants Program

The NSWALC State Wide Grants program provides grants for organisations and events of state wide significance, that support and promote Aboriginal culture and/or sporting achievement.

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council provides the grants each year to to protect our culture and heritage and to support our people - two core goals in NSWALC'S Strategic Plan 2018-2022.

Councillors understand that a thriving culture is a major priority for communities, and sport helps develop healthy lives, commitment and pursuit of excellence.

Successful grants will support and promote either or both of these areas, and have state wide Aboriginal participation.

Activities that do not have state wide participation and support and promote Aboriginal culture and/or sporting achievement will not be funded under the State Wide Grants program.

The NSWALC 2018-19 Supplementary State Wide Grants Policy & Procedure outlines what the grants can be used for, and on what basis grant applications will be assessed.

2018 Supplementary Funding Round

The application period for the 2018 supplementary round of NSWALC State Wide Grants will be open from Friday, 16 November 2018 until 5pm on Friday, 7 December 2018.

Completed application forms and supporting documents should be submitted via e-mail to grants@alc.org.au no later than 5pm on Friday, 7 December 2018.
