There's still time to apply for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council's Educational Scholarship

The application period for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council's (NSWALC) new educational scholarship has been extended to Friday 1 November 2019.

The NSWALC Educational Scholarship will support NSW Aboriginal university students in their studies and is aimed at students in their penultimate year.

It provides two $10,000 scholarships and an additional paid internship at NSWALC.

The six-week internship will be undertaken during January and February 2020 in a NSWALC Business Unit of the Scholarship recipient's discipline.

Fields of study may include law, finance, business, media & communications, human resources, land & environment, planning, policy or property management.

The NSWALC internship is designed to provide students valuable experience and support on their pathway from education into employment.

It will give students practical experience in their fields of study, and develop their work place skills and understanding of the Land Rights network.

Aboriginal students interested in applying can access the application form here.

The application period has been extended, and applications for the NSWALC Educational Scholarship now close at 5:00pm on Friday 1 November October 2019.

For more information, please call the NSWALC Program Implementation Unit on 02 9689 4444.
