Three Months until the NSW Aboriginal Land Council Elections

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council election date has been set for Saturday, 24 February 2024.

The NSW Electoral Commission will run the election.

Key Dates

  • Close of Rolls – 6 December 2023
  • Nominations Open – 2 January 2024
  • Postal Vote Applications Open – 8 January 2024
  • Nominations Close – 30 January 2024 (Noon)
  • Election Day – Saturday, 24 February 2024

Grace Toomey stands down as Councillor for the Central Region

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) Councillor for the Central Region, Grace Toomey has been disqualified from holding office pursuant to s132(1)(i) of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 and has stood down.
